In Bruges.

So we were only in Brussels for one day because we heard Bruges is way better, we heard right. There really wasnt much to see in Brussels except for Cafe Delerium which has an insane amount of beer on tap! We went to a few little cafes etc for cocktails and it was like 30 degrees out!! I left our stupid EU plug at the hostel which has really made things difficult but thankfully Sam is helping us out and giving us one of hers for a double adapter in France.

So Bruges was one of my favorite places so far. The town itself is so pretty and the buildings are quite breathtaking! Particularly the church which held Michelangelos Madonna with Child which was one of the most amazing cathedrals I have ever seen. The chocolates, waffles, omelettes etc were all amazing and the best Hot Chocolates EVER! The Cappacinos there were so good, I dont even like coffee but I liked them. I have now decided I like mushrooms too.

So we saw what is supposedly Christs blood and they were making people pay to touch it which I find so ridiculous. I am not a religious person but if God is supposed to be for the people etc then why should you have to pay to touch something that should rightfully belong to all "Gods children" etc. I dont know it just seems stupid. "Hey everybody please hear the word of God and change your ways, but please pay 50 Euro cents to make the leap of faith".

Anyway our hostel had a bar and restaurant which was good and the staff were very helpful to get us on our way to Paris.
